THE NEW FRONTIER: NFTs + WEB 3.0

Excited to join Jill Andresevic and Drew Palmer as they launch a new platform showcasing independent and innovative brands alongside their NFT counterparts. November 2022 MF.com will drop the first Maker Collection along with limited edition NFTs.

SHAKEN NOT STIRRED

Headed back to Long Island City to work with a small business that has been serving the community for 15 years.  Squarewine & Spirits, formerly Court Square Wine when I was an LIC resident, is eager to pick up post-pandemic and connect with the shifting demographic and re-establish itself as the go-to wine and spirits store.

Since December I've utilized social media to promote new products, events, our new Staff Picks channel, and our canine customers with #dogsofLIC Taking a cue from WineFolly we have a channel to share the fascinating facts and history of wine & spirits. Instagram followers and purchases from the Squarewine app have gone up 30%.  We've introduced products from Asia and the Pacific Rim and host events with our vendors including the French Pool Toy Pool Party at the Forge LIC.

DESIGNING A NEW COLLECTION

For their second collection, D&K invited me to design new shapes, redefine the aesthetic and take the brand to market to coexist with innovators and mainstays as Telfar, Coach, Marc Jacobs and Jacquemus. For the future I reference the past with an homage to the 1960s, when the Space Race ignited innovation and designers such as Nina Ricci and Pierre Cardin made bold statements about future wear and utility. The collection will drop early Fall 2022.

AUTOMATION and SYSTEMIZATION

Producing for the largest global retailer requires flexibility, patience and the ability to create solves sometimes overnight. My tenure as their U.S. content producer is an excellent example of how process automation upgraded the client experience, elevated the image quality standards for the mass retailer and allowed me to harness the technology of Drafthorse to create tools that increased monthly asset delivery by 18% by end of Q3/Y1. CREATING A CONTENT STUDIO

To your right is a product family promo created for Covergirl at the Content Studio I created for them in 2019.  What's unique here is this is a composite integrating e-commerce imagery and ancillary captures from social photography. From repurposed assets, we created a fresh new look for an evergreen product category that will be utilized across multiple seasons. The longevity of this asset benefits the client by increasing usage, decreasing cost per use and increases the 'value' of this mode of production.
